Measure underneath the arms just above the nipple line. Make sure the tape is secure across the back and not drooping.
Measure on the posterior mid-line of the right arm, at the point mid-way between the acromion and olecranon processes.
The mid-point between the anterior axillary line and the edge of the areola.
Measure at the narrowest part of the torso below the lowest rib and above the iliac crest.
Measure at the maximal circumference of the hips or butt, whichever is larger above the gluteal fold.
Measure at the mid-way point as marked between the inguinal canal and the tip (superior border) of the patella, On the right leg. Instruct client to stand with equal pressure on both legs with feet flat.
Measure at the maximum circumference of the right calf.
Measure under the mid-inferior border of the right scapula.
Measure where previously marked (During circumference measurement) on the posterior mid-line of the right arm.
With the right arm in the anatomical position, measure 1 centimeter above the level used to mark the triceps site on anterior mid-line of arm.
Measure on the diagonal fold; on-half the distance between the anterior axillary line and the nipple, on the right side of the body.
Measure at same level as the xiphoid process directly on the mid-axillary line below the arm pit, on the right side.
Measure above the crest of the illiac bone at the anterior axillary line, on the right side.
Measure to the right of the umbilicus 2 centimeters. Avoid putting your finger in the belly button.
Measure at the half-way point as marked on the right thigh. Right foot slightly forward all the body weight on the left foot, keep the thigh muscle relaxed.
